Family seaside resort Portstewart is a superb gateway to the dramatic, diverse landscape of the Causeway Coast.  Travel west along the Atlantic Coast for a panorama of amazing sights, entertainment and activities. Whether you are old, young or a family there will always be something to do at our Causeway Coast accommodation or you can just sit back and relax in the comfortable surrounding of Strand House. Activities on offer at Strand House include Bridge tuition and guided walks for small or large groups and Portstewart boasts five Bridge clubs and welcomes visitors. The National Trust owned beach is over 2 miles long and is just 5 minutes walk from Strand House. The beach is popular with water sport enthusiasts and extends to the Barmouth nature reserve. Boat /Fishing trips can be organised at the local harbour.

River Bann Cruises  This glass roofed water bus runs  every 2 hours and either goes up the river towards Kilrea or down river towards the Bar Mouth at Portstewart Strand.  Cruising along the meandering waters of the Bann as it slowly flows through  rich countryside is an ideal way to sample a laid back way of life. Cruises start across the Bann from the Water Margin Restuarant in Coleraine where there are parking facilities. To book please ring 07798786955.
