Portstewart Strand

This magnificent two-mile strand, owned and managed by the National Trust, stretches from Portstewart to the Bann estuary. The Trust has created a way-marked path from the beach to the Bann. Take this opportunity to watch many birds feeding on the mudflats - part of the Barmouth Nature Reserve. Car parking is available on the beach and a charge is made during high season.
Toilet facilities with disabled access open May - August daily 10am - 6pm.
Strand House is only a few minutes walk from this supurb beach.
