Wonderful visit as always
The time (6 days) spend with you was great and too quickly we had to move on. The food was excellent (expecially Crepe with fresh fruits - yummy), the room wonderful and the company warm, welcoming and friendly. The B&Bs we stayed in afterwards could not reach the standard of the Strand House at all.
I look forward to my next stay with Ernestine and Tom and hope that this will be soon. Maybe then only Strand House B&B and nothing else.

Superb Irish Welcome
stayed with 4 friends over the weekend just passed. Had family / friends over from Edinburgh for golf weekend. We all agreed we could not have been looked after any better!! Ernestine & Tom were wonderful, and nothing was any trouble.
the breakfast was brilliant each morning, and really set us up for the day's golf ahead. Accomodation is very comfortable, and it has such a homely feeling. Wonderful time. Thanks so much!!

My first visit to Northern Ireland by a mystery shopper!
The Strand Guest House in Portstewart.
Upon arrival I received a warm greeting. Having been shown to my spacious modern light room I was offered a pot of fresh coffee or tea along with home made scones and fruit cake all served in the snug with views of the shore.
The room was clean well lit with oak furniture; king sized bed, TV, DVD player and telephone. The modern look travertine floor was heated and complimented by an immaculate en-suite and my first impression better than many hotels I have stayed in.
It is uncertain if Wi-Fi was on offer as no signal could be obtained
Tea and coffee making facilities included the usual instant coffee fine tea bags and to my delight freshly ground coffee and home made biscuits in a decorative tin. It would have been perfect if hot chocolate had been on offer and brown natural sugar instead of refined white.
The en suite had a shower cubical, loo and basin all in perfectly cleaned white porcelain and modern taps. The soaps and moisturisers on offer for the guest were all natural products of the highest quality with such things as Rose & Geranium body lotion, Lavender & Camomile shower gel and Aloe Vera shower gel.
Breakfast was a mix of traditional Irish and home baking served and a modern dining room.
This is an extremely pleasant, well equipped, luxurious and modern guest house, offering accommodation to the highest standard with added views of the coast. A stay at this establishment is highly recommended.
